Our hygiene protocols are very strict. After any waxing service, gloves are immediately disposed of, hands are thoroughly washed, and new gloves are worn before starting the next treatment. If there was any confusion, we appreciate you asking for a glove change, and weβre glad our team responded accordingly.
Regarding the concern about the staff member touching her face or feet , we always instruct our team to avoid any such contact during treatment. However, as humans, minimal contact with oneβs own body using the back of the hand for comfort or adjustment may occasionally happen. This is not considered unhygienic, but we will remind our team to be extra mindful.
As for the cleanliness of our space and tools, we take pride in maintaining a sanitized environment. All tools go through a rigorous three-step sterilization process and are soaked in alcohol after every use. We understand that perceptions can vary, but this is the first time weβve received a complaint about the cleanliness of our premises.
With regard to dry callus removal, itβs not included in the standard dry pedicure service, but our staff assisted you with it at your request as an extra courtesy. Similarly, waxing and threading were not part of your treatment, so any reference to threading practices may have been based on observation rather than personal experience. For clients who choose threading, the traditional method is used with proper hygiene protocols in place.
We always do our best to accommodate client needs while maintaining safety and quality. If you expected a different level of service, we would recommend our spa pedicure next time, which includes more extensive foot care.
We understand that public salons may not suit everyoneβs comfort level, and we respect that. However, we want to assure you that our practices are designed to prioritize both client and staff hygiene.
